About the authors
Matthew Spremulli
A Master of Architecture student at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.
I have a particular set of interests that have converged in my current Thesis research (2011-defense). The research and exploration of these interests as it applies to my Thesis will be collected, cataloged, and commented upon in this blog. These interests include performative and/or augmented landscapes, agricultural practices, parametric relationships, digital-fabrication, infrastructure, occupying challenging regional climate areas, and the intersection of these interests in designing architecture.

How can we begin to tackle pressing issues on their “real” scales, scales that violate the western culture’s most fundamental beliefs in fixed borders? Challenging the preset notions given to me by my most recent degree, I’m using this blog to explore the interwoven topics contained within spatial organization that remains unaddressed due to inadequate agility within our most creative professions. No tangent is irrelevant in a world of complex adaptive systems.
